Take a look at the AIGA's Urban Forest Project. “Design Times Square: The Urban Forest Project brings 185 banners created by the world’s most celebrated designers, artists, photographers and illustrators to New York’s Times Square. It's time to get serious about "net neutrality." First, watch a hilarious video on wearetheweb.org. This will illustrate two things. First, creative people use the Internet constructively in the name of free speech and creative freedom. Second, if Internet access is regulated and certain web sites are "prioritized," the voice of the creative community will be compromised. Learn more about this important issue at the following web sites:

As with any important issue, you need to become knowledgeable and form your own opinions. Some of the former sites might have a "hidden agenda." Approach the issue from multiple angles, form your own opinions and take action.

In search of interesting . . .

I also want to mention the new Computerlove, which isn't really new. The blog format, which allows the use of images, makes finding interesting work fun and easy. Sure, you have to love Newstoday, K10K, Lounge72 and others, but I think that the use of images makes the experience richer.

Another Hump Day! Lost At E Minor offers up news on art, design, music and popular culture, and with the recent redesign of their web site, they are well worth a visit. Subscribe to their newsletter and "wow" your friends with your spectacular knowledge of all that's cool.

You might also dig the design work of Mike Harris at Destill. Finally, I would pay a visit to the new Change the Thought online store, where you can purchase some deluxe gear.
