The Decoder Ring Concern designed the deluxe packaging for the new Modest Mouse CD. As usual, the packaging is incredible, and the album debuted at number one on the Billboard charts.
In a recent Speak Up entry, Armin Vit let me know about five free grunge fonts. You should check them out.

I had some nice finds this morning. Linda Zacks' portfolio, which is called Extra Oomph, has some excellent work in it, as well as some nice emotive type examples. Robert Hardgrave's web site is also an enjoyable place to visit. I found a nice, free font, called greyscale. Finally, the EMI Music Belgium site looks excellent.

There was actually some interesting stuff on Newstoday. First up, I would take a look at the Eye-Project, which is a fascinating way to view video. The work of Kenichi Hoshine is also worth review. Nick Deakin has a nice illustration portfolio online. Finally, Sony announced the release of Little Big Planet, which essentially looks like the future of media.

I really like the work of Amy Rowan at Art School Girl. You can order her stationery and books online, too. Very nice.

During the next few weeks, I'll update the web site with new work. Here are a few images to pique your interest. This is a series of posters that I developed in Emotive Type. The posters advertise a lecture series on The New Atheism.

OnBeing is beautiful, moving and, best of all, flawlessly engineered. A wonderful testament to the ways in which technology can inspire and bring us closer together.

If you have a free moment, take a look at the work of Thomas Heatherwick. He is featured in the March 2007 issue of Wired. His work is a combination of art, architecture and engineering genius. His works are large, amorphous, public sculptures that completely redefine the surroundings in which they are placed.
